Problems

If you are experiencing one of the following problems, use this article to rectify your issue:

 

  • Nothing plays.
  • Nothing happens when selecting "open" in the open/save dialog in your Internet browser.
  • Open/save dialog keeps popping up when clicking "open."
  • Program opens that does not play the file or gives me an error.

 

 

Resolution

  1. Install the proper software.
    1. We recommend you download and install iTunes by Apple if you do not already have it installed.
      Note: iTunes is compatible with PCs and Macs.
    2. You do not have to use iTunes, but choosing not to may cause the following instructions to differ. Some other programs you can use are Winamp and RealPlayer.
  2. Save the playlist file.
    1. Click FBC Internet Radio Listen.
    2. When the open/save dialog for the file listen.pls pops up, select "Save" and save the file onto your computer.

    3. Save the file on your computer to whatever folder you want to store it in (i.e. Desktop).
      Note: Remember where you saved the file.
  3. Play FBC Internet Radio with iTunes.
    1. Open iTunes.
    2. On the top menu bar, go to File > Add File to Library (CTRL+O).
    3. Locate and select the file you saved earlier. Then click "Open."

    4. Locate and double click the file you just added.
      Note: It may be named http://www.fbchammond.com:43000/.

Other Notes

If you get an error or the file continually buffers, loads, etc., there is a chance that our Internet radio may be down. In this instance please contact us through e-mail so we can fix the problem immediately.
