Pastor Schaap wants to thank all of the church members who helped in our emergency response team during the recent flooding in Munster and in the surrounding communities. He appreciates not only the fact that you helped members of our church, but that you helped meet the needs of people throughout the community as well. Pastor Schaap would like you to know that the city of Hammond has issued a commendation to our church, and we've received numerous phone calls and emails expressing gratitude for your service.

 

First Baptist Church has a long history of being a friend to its neighbors, and you exemplify that in the greatest way. Of course, our church will continue to pray and offer any aid we can to the area, including counseling from our pastoral staff to all who request it.
