Senior Ministries

Bro. Eggers was saved at the age of five. He moved to Northwest Indiana in January of 2005 to attend Hyles-Anderson College. He immediately became involved in the church orchestra and bus ministry. In 2007, while a junior in college, he started teaching trombone part-time at Hammond Baptist Schools. He graduated from Hyles-Anderson College with a bachelor’s degree in pastoral theology in January 2008. Bro. Eggers graduated with a master of practical theology degree in January 2010. He was hired as an administrative assistant at First Baptist Church in July of 2010. In November of 2012, he was asked to oversee the Senior Ministries. Bro. Eggers also serves as the music coordinator for First Baptist Church. Bro. Eggers was married to his wife Joy in January of 2008, and they have three children: Eli, Silas, and Emily.

Activities

The Best Years Club gets together frequently for times of fun and enrichment! Annual day trips include visiting Shipshewana, Indiana, and the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. These are wonderful opportunities that will strengthen your relationships and your faith.
