Ricky Torres
Bro. Enrique (Ricky) Torres was saved at the age of seven after being reached through the bus ministry of the First Baptist Church. Bro. Torres is a graduate of both our own City Baptist School and Hyles-Anderson College. Bro. Ricky was married to his wife Zaida in 1996, and the Lord has used them as a wonderful team together. He currently serves as our Chicagoland youth pastor, and in 2022, the Lord opened the door for Bro. Torres to begin pastoring Hope Baptist Church in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago. Bro. & Mrs. Torres have a passion to reach Chicagoland for Christ.

Yesterday, our Chicagoland teens enjoyed their Valentine banquet, “Festival of Friends” Thank you, Pastor John Wilkerson for stopping by. We enjoyed an excellent meal prepared by Eddie and Barbara Rios. Thank you to Amanda Steps and our Sunday school teachers for helping decorate for the banquet and also our Sunday school workers that helped in serving the meal.
Thank you Jeremy Campa and Isaiah Rodriguez in providing our music.
Many of our young people dressed their best and looked very sharp.
Thank you to Rachel McManus for the pictures. 📸
