Our Mission and Vision
DRIVEN Singles is designed to help adults ages 18-45 cultivate a thriving personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Join us every Sunday for classes designed for single adults like you. From outreach and service to engaging activities, we’re here to help you cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our aim is to provide Biblical and practical teaching, enabling you to experience genuine connections conducive to building a foundation for your Christian life. Come, engage, and grow with us as we journey together in faith and fellowship.

Jonathan Adkins earned a bachelor of science degree from Hyles-Anderson College in 2018. He currently serves as an assistant pastor at the First Baptist Church of Hammond, overseeing the “A” Bus Ministry, the young adults’ and singles’ ministries, along with assisting in the church music and security departments. Bro. Adkins also uses his musical abilities in teaching at Hammond Baptist Schools, City Baptist School, and Hyles-Anderson College. He and his wife Bailey were married in October of 2021, and they have one little girl.
Our goals for every single adult at First Baptist Church of Hammond are simple:
Equip single adults with the tools needed to go forward with Christ by having weekly gatherings and monthly service opportunities.
Encourage single adults to be active in Christ by having activities in a Christ-centered atmosphere and with one-on-one meetings where you can walk through the Bible.
Exalt the Lord our God by teaching applicable lessons that are tailored to your age group and will help you reflect Christ in your daily walk.
